Comments and Impression
Restricted for space with the current course sweeping back and forth on parallel tracks. The jumps were all well maintained but with no great variety. The dressage areas were set out beside the busy B3130 providing distractions for the competitors and horses as the vehicles passed by. The event was easy to find with plenty space for parking in the adjacent field. Hot and cold was also available.
The weather was glorious and the compact layout allows almost uninterrupted views of the complete course.
Special Interest : Jonny and Holly from Billow
Jonny and Holly riding Presley and Tango both hail from Billow Farm Livery. The event provided mixed fortunes for both teams. Great news for Holly, FIRST place, after an unbelievable dressage score and an excellent performance in showing and cross-country. Go Tango!! Unfortunately, after a great dressage test, Presley caught his front stud in the opposite hoof and sustained a nasty injury which forced him to retire. He is well on the road to recovery.
