Frampton Summer Show 2008
The Frampton Summer Show 2008 was held in grounds of the estate on Sunday 14th September 2008. With easy access off the A38 just south of junction 13 on the M5. The show ground was packed out, probably due to the good weather. The rain held back to provide a warm atmosphere. Note: The cross country course is available to hire through the Frampton Family Riding Club.
Comments and Impression
Well!! it took 40mins, queuing back from the M5 to get into the show. Not a great start. The chance of sunshine must have brought the whole neighbourhood out. Getting home wasn't much better. If larger crowds are expected next year then the organisers must reflect seriously on access. Inside the grounds were packed out. It felt like twice the numbers compared to last year.
Anyway I only took the camera by chance, as I was originally after a few random crowd shots, but as ever ended up focussing on the equine exhibition. I hope you enjoy the photos as I struggled to get clear shots and some are taken across the arena from the action. Awesome display though. Ohh the photo of our Labrador was taken by my daughter. Check out those hazel eyes.
