Broadway
The Broadway One Day event is located on the minor road out towards Snowshill Glos; one of my favourite venues. Picture box Cotswolds location. A peaceful rolling course which is a joy to visit, especially in the recent good weather. Not sure if the course is available to hire, suggest you inquire at the adjacent livery.
Comments and Impression
A glorious day! The rolling aspect of the course allows you to sit on the steep banks and watch the whole course. Well organised with excellent facilities and fence judges. One criticisms voiced by several competitors was the location of the dressage arenas beneath the trees. This combined with the good weather created the idea place for horse flies!!. This severely distracted numerous horses.
Both the show & XC jumps were is good order with some very tricky downhill descents for the advanced class and the water jump appeared to distract some mounts. Plenty of parking for both trailer and lorries.
Another good Riding Club team event. Unfortunately a hedge in the wrong place prevented me from getting the ideal shots through the water complex.

Supporting the two Amanda's again, riding Bear and Curly. "Dressage is a pain not a pleasure". Think of a warm summers afternoon basking in the sun; the countryside at its best. Well done to all. The VWH Riding Club team came sixth.
